Amaru Path is a travel agency specializing in adventure and cultural tours throughout Peru. By booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. Booking Procedure

Reservations can be made through our official website, email, or direct contact with our team. To confirm a booking, a deposit of [specify percentage or amount] or full payment of the selected package is required.

2.2. Payment Methods

We accept payments via bank transfers, credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), and other authorized payment platforms.

2.4. Payment Deadlines

Full payment must be made at least before the scheduled travel date.

3. Cancellations and Refund Policy

3.1. Cancellations by the Client

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The refund policy is as follows:

  • More than 30 days before departure: 80% refund.
  • Between 15 and 30 days before: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days before: No refund.

3.2. Cancellations by Amaru Path

In case of unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather conditions or political unrest), we reserve the right to cancel tours. Alternative arrangements or partial refunds will be offered as applicable.

3.3. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed within , deducting administrative costs.

4. Changes to Travel Plans

4.1. Changes Requested by the Client

Any changes to a confirmed reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

4.2. Changes Made by the Agency

Amaru Path reserves the right to modify itineraries for operational, safety, or environmental reasons, ensuring suitable alternatives.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1. Documentation

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documents, including valid passports, visas, and required permits.

5.2. Health and Physical Conditions

Participants must be in good physical condition to undertake the scheduled activities. Any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed to the agency.

5.3. Conduct

Clients are expected to respect local customs, follow guide instructions, and act responsibly towards the environment and other travelers. The agency reserves the right to terminate services in cases of inappropriate behavior.

6. Agency Responsibilities

6.1. Service Quality

We commit to providing services as specified in the itinerary, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

6.2. Liability Limitations

Amaru Path is not responsible for:

  • Delays or cancellations caused by third-party providers.
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings.
  • Events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or political unrest.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, and loss of belongings. Amaru Path is not liable for incidents that could be covered by such insurance.

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

8.1. Complaints

Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the completion of the trip. Our team will address them fairly and promptly.

8.2. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Peru. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Cusco.
