We depart Cusco early and drive through the South Valley, passing traditional villages and agricultural fields. Along the way, we make stops at places of cultural and natural interest, such as Lake Pomacanchi, a serene body of water surrounded by rolling hills, and the community of Quehue, where the Qeswachaka Bridge is located.

Upon arrival at the bridge, our guide will explain its historical and cultural significance. The Qeswachaka Bridge was part of the extensive Inca road network, connecting communities across deep canyons. You’ll have the opportunity to cross the bridge, feeling the sway of the woven fibers beneath your feet and marveling at the ingenuity of Inca engineering.

After exploring the bridge and its surroundings, we enjoy a picnic lunch with panoramic views of the Apurímac River canyon. This is a perfect moment to reflect on the resilience and traditions of the Andean people. In the afternoon, we return to Cusco, arriving in the evening with a deeper appreciation for the living legacy of the Inca civilization.
